The Doris Day Animal Foundation funds nonprofit 501c3 organizations that need assistance in their work of caring for and protecting animals. Through our grants, scores of animal rescue and welfare organizations have received sustaining resources to continue their work, to offer additional services or to expand their reach to the animals who most critically need their help. A special focus for DDAF is on programs benefitting senior pets and the people who love them.
DDAF evaluates prospective grantees and makes grants throughout the year. We consider applications quarterly, with submissions accepted during January, April, July, and October, funding the groups that meet our guidelines and that we believe have the greatest or most urgent need.
If you represent an organization seeking funding, please review the Guidelines and FAQ link below. Send us your letter of introduction and if it looks as if there is a good fit we will invite you to submit your grant application and supply the necessary documents. If your application is selected for a grant, we will notify you during the quarter. If you have additional questions after reading the FAQ, don't hesitate to reach us at email@example.com.
Email is the preferred form of communication. This includes letters of introduction and grant documentation as well. Please send everything to firstname.lastname@example.org. Letters that are mailed via USPS to the Foundation must include your organization's email address, and will receive a response only if there is a possibility of a grant.
Thank you for caring!
