Greyhound Adoption Center

The Greyhound Adoption Center (GAC) has been saving greyhounds for more than 30 years since they were founded in San Diego, Calif.

They have rescued around 6,000 dogs from racetracks, animal shelters and farms. A network of more than 200 volunteers throughout California supports their efforts to rescue, rehabilitate and find loving homes for these gentle creatures. They have room for 60 dogs and most days, it’s a full house. Their extraordinary strong, active community includes an online family in the thousands who engage with GAC and follow their work via Facebook.
